The whole is greater than the sum of its parts

The Kerb Weight of your car is the weight of a vehicle, including mechanicals, equipment, standard fitments that it comes with from the manufacturer, plus the weight of fuel, coolant, brake fluid, engine oil, etc. The weight of passengers and luggage are not counted in the Kerb Weight. It is measured when the vehicle is not being used and resting on the kerb (flat surface).
